A native of Colombia, South America, Ani Espriella grew up
in the culturally rich city of Miami working as a singer for 20 years. She moved to Colorado in 2003, and inspired
by it's natural beauty, turned to the visual arts. She began painting in oils in 2005, and has
taken classes and workshops with Jake Gaedtke, Jeff Legg, Elizabeth Robbins,
Dan Beck, Chuck Ceraso, and most recently Marc Hanson. In the past year she has become interested in
the richness of pastels and has been outside doing plein air enjoying her
beautiful surroundings. Ani currently
shows her artwork at Mary Williams Fine Art in Boulder, CO, and at Bella Muse
Gallery in Ogden, UT.
